Saltwater Stone’s relationship with Intellian started in 2011 when we were appointed as their full-service agency for their commercial, oil and gas and leisure marine business. 2012 – Present
Appointed in 2012 to help promote this newly built marina, Saltwater Stone introduced Karpaz Gate Marina to the leisure marine audience and continues to handle the global PR and media communications during the next phases of development. Social media activity is undertaken for the marina and shore-side facilities across a multitude of platforms. In late 2016, US NASDAQ listed company, FLIR Inc. were seeking a PR agency to manage the EMEA media relations for their marine product line, in particular, to manage press launches and product sea trials. Saltwater was subsequently appointed as the company’s exclusive maritime agency for EMEA In the following year Saltwater started managing the company’s print and media advertising campaigns in the leisure, superyacht and commercial marine media.Visual navigation equipment

In late 2016 US-based FLIR was looking to appoint an agency for PR and media buying services in EMEA and Saltwater was selected. We manage large-scale product launches, European PR and digital and print media buying across Europe.Boat transportation

In 2020 Peters & May selected Saltwater Stone as their global PR and marketing agency. A full-service offering of global PR, advertising and design services is supplied. Digital marketing, web hosting and design is delivered through partner supplier Semantic.

When Ocean Signal set up their business in October 2010 they turned to Saltwater for strategic PR and marketing advice. Saltwater managed the global launch PR and continued to act as their global advisors until the company was sold to US company, ACR Electronics.Gyro stabilization technology

As a strategic partner of current Saltwater client YANMAR, Smartgyro was first supported by Saltwater at the Genoa Boat Show 2020 as a YANMAR brand. They then approached Saltwater in 2021 as a separate entity to ask for dedicated assistance to grow brand awareness, raise the company’s profile in the marine press, maximise show attendance and handle ongoing announcements and PR activity.Navigation & compliance

OneOcean (previously named ChartCo) appointed Saltwater Stone in 2018 when it identified the need to extend brand recognition following its re-brand from paper to digital charts and publications. Formerly known as Essex Boatyards, Boats.co.uk was a Fairline dealer in 2006 and appointed Saltwater to manage the company’s UK PR. Saltwater Stone was appointed by Cox Powertrain in 2016 to manage key messaging and brand awareness for the worldwide PR campaign in support of the introduction of the new CXO300 diesel outboard engine. In 2018 Saltwater studio provided the design campaign for exhibition stands, advertising and packaging. 2018 saw the physical introduction of the outboard and the Saltwater team attended Fort Lauderdale Boat Show to manage its first appearance, which was subsequently followed by an ongoing programme of media sea trials.Generators & air-conditioning

In 2017 Fischer Panda was recommended to Saltwater’s services by its UK client Dometic (2008 to 2018). As UK distributor of Dometic air-conditioning systems, Fischer Panda were looking to promote its business within the leisure marine and inland waterway sectors.

West P&I approached Saltwater Stone in 2020 for assistance in developing an in-house magazine for distribution to its Members and other interested parties. US based ACR Electronics appointed Saltwater Stone in 2015 following its purchase of Ocean Signal, a Saltwater client since 2010. Saltwater is responsible for the global PR for ACR and Ocean Signal brands and also supports the Survivors Club. With multiple new product launches every year in the leisure and commercial safety sector, Saltwater creates press releases, handles media enquiries, sources editorial opportunities, provides show support and manages award entries.
