Saltwater is responsible for the global PR for ACR and Ocean Signal brands and also supports the Survivors Club. With multiple new product launches every year in the leisure and commercial safety sector, Saltwater creates press releases, handles media enquiries, sources editorial opportunities, provides show support and manages award entries.

Cox Powertrain

Cox Powertrain is the developer and manufacturer of the first highest-powered diesel outboard ever produced. With roots in Formula 1 racing and the backing of a solid base of private institutional investors, it is implementing a long-term programme of ground-breaking product developments supported by a world-beating customer service programme.

Saltwater Stone was appointed by Cox Powertrain in 2016 to manage key messaging and brand awareness for the worldwide PR campaign in support of the introduction of the new CXO300 diesel outboard engine. In 2018 Saltwater studio provided the design campaign for exhibition stands, advertising and packaging. 2018 saw the physical introduction of the outboard and the Saltwater team attended Fort Lauderdale Boat Show to manage its first appearance, which was subsequently followed by an ongoing programme of media sea trials.

In late 2016, US NASDAQ listed company, FLIR Inc. were seeking a PR agency to manage the EMEA media relations for their marine product line, in particular, to manage press launches and product sea trials. Saltwater was subsequently appointed as the company’s exclusive maritime agency for EMEA In the following year Saltwater started managing the company’s print and media advertising campaigns in the leisure, superyacht and commercial marine media.

Boats.co.uk is one of the UK’s biggest boat dealerships. With over 50 years’ experience in new and used boat sales and repairs, the company handles sales of some of the most prominent brands in the business: Princess, Williams, Parker Boats, Arvor and Kawasaki.

Karpaz Gate Marina

The award-winning 300-berth Karpaz Gate Marina opened in Northern Cyprus, one of the most unspoilt locations in the Mediterranean, in 2011. Suitable for yachts up to 65m, this luxury marina also features an exceptional beach club and boatyard, with an on-site hotel scheduled to open in 2021.

Appointed in 2012 to help promote this newly built marina, Saltwater Stone introduced Karpaz Gate Marina to the leisure marine audience and continues to handle the global PR and media communications during the next phases of development. Social media activity is undertaken for the marina and shore-side facilities across a multitude of platforms. Saltwater Stone also designed the marina brochure and handbook, and the display panels on its stand at exhibitions.

UK-based boatbuilder, the Neva Group has developed the Pixii brand of electric tenders for boaters who are passionate about being part of a sustainable future. The design of the 7.5m Pixii tenders was inspired by Hippolyte Pixii, a scientific instrument maker from Paris who built the first apparatus for generating an alternating current out of a rotation.

Smartgyro is a gyro stabilisation technology company based in La Spezia, Italy. With the aim to bring boat stabilisation for vessels from 30ft to 80ft, Smartgyro is bringing to market a full range of highly advanced gyro stabilizers for recreational and commercial marine applications.

As a strategic partner of current Saltwater client YANMAR, Smartgyro was first supported by Saltwater at the Genoa Boat Show 2020 as a YANMAR brand. VETUS Maxwell

VETUS Maxwell is a renowned developer and manufacturer of complete marine systems, including engines, generators, bow thrusters and control panels, for recreational craft and small commercial vessels. Known for innovation, the majority of its products are designed by in-house engineers.
