JL Audio, America’s leading marine audio manufacturer approached Saltwater Stone for assistance launching its product range at European boat shows. We were asked to raise JL Audio’s brand’s profile throughout Europe and engage with consumers, large boat manufacturers, superyacht crew and service agents and it was agreed the existing brand personality and visual style needed to be developed to better suit European markets.

The Saltwater Stone design team created a series of graphic elements that worked harmoniously with the brand’s established visual identity and reflected the heritage of the US company.


A cohesive look and feel was then established across all touchpoints, from event invitations to social media channels. This identity helped reposition JL Audio from a relatively unknown US technology brand in Europe to a company of broader appeal, focused on user experience, innovation and excellence.

Through strong PR engagement in Europe, Saltwater Stone successfully raised awareness of the JL Audio brand and achieved consistent coverage of its new products and company news.

This coverage helped JL Audio to develop its core dealership network and establish a number of high-profile boat builder partnerships with Wahoo, Pascoe International and Glider luxury yachts.
