Georgina jointly founded the business with husband Clive in 1991. A vastly experienced PR strategist, Georgina directed US and EMEA campaigns for clients until 2014 when she moved to head up the new Media Intelligence team. Although she now overseas print and online media campaigns for clients across all maritime sectors, she still retains her PR roots and acts as an advisor to the team. “I am proud that since Clive and I started our business, Saltwater is still considered a market leader. We have achieved this position through hard work and determination – and a constant battle of reacting and adapting to the ups and downs of our market sector. Our clients have played a part in shaping our journey, but I also recognise the part played by the energy and professionalism of the Saltwater team.”
Clive was one of the original founders of Saltwater and has now retired after 27 years with the company. With a life long history in yacht racing and powerboats, Clive has an in-depth knowledge of how marine products are used. His extensive experience in PR and enthusiasm for bringing new products to market ensured no stone was left unturned to achieve the most for the company’s clients. He has been a contributor to Boating Business magazine on Public Relations issues, a panellist on the Monaco Superyacht Marketing Forum and a member of the British Marine Membership Marketing committee. Clive is a mine of information on what works and what doesn’t in maritime PR and remains as a valuable advisor to the Saltwater Stone team – when he can be dragged off the boat!
Previously Group Editor for a publishing house, Saul has developed an enviable position in the commercial marine market with strong global connections with magazines and an ability to turn technical detail into readable editorial. He attends a number of International exhibitions with clients ranging from commercial shipping to safety and deep sea oil exploration. “We have built a significant client base in the commercial shipping and offshore markets with global influence in the relevant media. It’s an exciting and diverse business to be involved in and our proven success has been a client winner.”

Our role is to communicate the message - and reach the right people - by reducing everything to its absolute essence, never trapping ourselves into a particular style. We communicate, not decorate; we solve business problems and ultimately improve the bottom line."
